Supply – A Live Music Fundraiser for PPE, set to take place this Thursday, June 18th, will feature a performance from The Nth Power‘s Nick Cassarino among several other musicians and comedians during the stream for its inaugural event.
The live and interactive Zoom event will help to support frontline workers and COVID-19 affected communities by supplying them with the personal protective equipment (PPE) they desperately need. Supply organizers have teamed up with GetUsPPE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing PPE shortages and aid those who are most in need.
Additional artists include Colin Smith (Christina Aguilera), Erin Boyd (Phantom Vanity), Kiwi Fuzz, Brockett Parsons (Lady Gaga), Kristin Dausch (Show N Tell), Andrew Swackhamer (Starbird and the Phoenix), and comedians Brian Scott McFadden and Ray Ellin.
Supply – A Live Music Fundraiser for PPE will run from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. ET, and organizers plan to hold a similar stream every month for the foreseeable future. Tickets are on sale now for $20, with all proceeds going to GetUsPPE. Click here for tickets and visit the GetUsPPE website to donate and for more information. Furthermore, visit the event’s Facebook page to learn more about Supply.
The Nth Power recently participated in Quarantine Comes Alive, a virtual music festival that took place on Saturday, May 30th, where the band performed a Nirvana tribute set. All proceeds from the donation-based event were split between the participating artists and the comprehensive PLUS1 COVID-19 Relief Fund. QCA raised over $150k for the relief fund, which worked directly with leading non-profit organizations like Sweet Relief, MusiCares, Center for Disaster Philanthropy, World Central Kitchen, Partners In Health, Trans Lifeline, and Backline.
Live For Live Music will be rolling out individual segments from the 15-hour live stream event, including The Nth Power’s performance, over the coming weeks. Stay tuned to the L4LM Twitter page for those releases.
