Tame Impala has released The Slow Rush B-Sides and Remixes, a companion piece to its 2020 album, The Slow Rush, out now on streaming platforms via Interscope. This latest record from the Kevin Parker-fronted psy-pop group contains previously-unheard tracks like “The Boat I Row”, and will also arrive as part of The Slow Rush Deluxe Box Set on April 8th.

“The Boat I Row” is a mellow, synth-laden tune that features some blissful instrumentation. A dynamic bassline carries the song through its 3:58 runtime and serves as a platform for reverberating guitar and introspective lyricism. Parker sings of his metaphorical boat that struggles to sail through “endless problems” from which he’s “already runnin’.”

Leading up to the arrival, Tame Impala shared a Lil Yachty remix of “Breathe Deeper”, as well as the b-side “No Choice“. As part of The Slow Rush Deluxe Box Set, fans will receive two transparent red LP’s with alternate artwork, a 40-page booklet, and The Slow Rush 2050 calendar. Both the digital and physical versions will feature the pre-album single, “Patience”, in addition to remixes of “One More Year”, “Is It True”, and “Borderline”.
