TAUK will hit the road with vocalist Kanika Moore this fall for a tour of collaborative concerts. The monthlong stretch of almost two dozen shows will see the quintet debut new, original compositions.

As the band explained in a Facebook post announcing the tour, what began as a few festival collaborations through the years turned into a song, and from there into many, and then into a full-blown tour.

“After a number of energetic and powerful live collaborations with Kanika including Electric Forest in 2018, Peach Festival and Resonance Festival in 2021, we decided to jump in the studio and write a song.. which turned into her spending two weeks with us, resulting in Moore songs,” TAUK wrote on social media. “The tunes conjured up during these sessions are the basis of our TAUK Moore tour coming to a town NEAR YOU.”

The TAUK tour with Kanika Moore tour will begin on October 20th in Cleveland, OH and move west with stops in Chicago (10/21), Minneapolis (10/23), Lawrence, KS (10/26), and Lincoln, NE (10/27) before TAUK co-hosts the inaugural Oogie Boogie with Dopapod at Cervantes’ in Denver on October 28th and 29th. TAUK will headline with Moore on the 28th and then perform as a quartet on the 29th, supporting Dopapod on a bill including CyclesDJ Logic & Friends, and DJ Parrisian.
