After more than a year of dropping breadcrumbs of individual singles and building anticipation with a well-received joint tour, TAUK and Kanika Moore will cement their collaboration with a full album, TAUK Moore. Out on June 16th, the collaborative LP pairs the progressive instrumental jam quartet with the dynamic Doom Flamingo vocalist.

Since October 2022, TAUK and Kanika Moore have released six singles including five original compositions and a cover of Björk‘s “Army of Me“. In the live setting, the group’s collaborations stretch even further with a number of joint compositions not yet available on streaming services. These new tracks also bolster the time-tested cache of songs from TAUK’s decade-plus of relentless touring and innovative songwriting pushing the boundaries of instrumental rock.

The entire TAUK/Moore venture began as a sit-in during the TAUK Paper Scissors set at Mountain Music Festival last June. Along with Moore, the guest-filled set saw TAUK welcome Antwaun Stanley (vocals, Vulfpeck), Clyde Lawrence (vocals/keys, Lawrence), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet/vocals, Trey Anastasio Band), James Casey (saxophone, Trey Anastasio Band), Jordan Cohen (saxophone, Lawrence), and Jason Hann (percussion, The String Cheese Incident). It was there, on a mountaintop in West Virginia, that the seeds of TAUK Moore were planted.
