Tedeschi Trucks Band has shared the pro-shot video highlighting their performance of “Somebody Pick Up My Pieces”, performed during the third and final night of the band’s recent three-night run at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN on February 29th.

TTB’s cover of the Willie Nelson original came halfway through the show’s opening set, and put the spotlight on Susan Tedeschi who led the country ballad with a slight uptempo swing on vocals and guitar. The performance wasn’t without some nicely drawn-out notes from the horn section during the buildup to the chorus and a short but sweet solo from Derek Trucks.

The Ryman residency on February 27th-29th came just days before the downtown and eastern areas of Nashville were hit by tornadoes on March 3rd, which sadly resulted in numerous casualties and serious infrastructure damages to homes and businesses throughout the southern city.

The band made sure to note ways fans can donate to help the disaster relief efforts in a post shared to their Facebook to go with the video in adding, “Nashville is home to TTB crew members and many of our closest friends, and we want to do our part to support the relief effort in a city that’s near and dear to our hearts.”
