The Floozies and SunSquabi brought their collaborative Dayglow Funk Tour to The Bluestone in Columbus, OH on Wednesday night.
The two rising stars of the livetronica scene stopped by the 100-year-old renovated Gothic church in the Ohio state capitol to put on a hump day dance party for all those willing to brave the elements on a weeknight. After an opening set from Late Night Radio, SunSquabi hit the stage to warm up the crowd on a chilly Ohio night. The Colorado-bred jamtronic trio did their thing as they paved the way for headlining act The Floozies. The duo, comprised of brothers Matt and Mark Hill, didn’t care what day of the week it was as they threw down infectiously-danceable electronic grooves while Matt toggled between guitar and producing on-the-fly on his laptop.
