The Kinks’ Ray And Dave Davies Reunite On Stage For First Time In Nearly 20 Years [Watch]

Last night at the Islington Assembly Hall in London, England, guitarist Dave Davies surprised the audience by welcoming his brother, Ray, out onto the stage. The two have not performed together in nearly 20 years, and reunited for The Kinks classic song, “You Really Got Me.”

The Davies brothers toured in 1996, but had not performed together until last night. Dave Davies has remained optimistic for a full fledged reunion, though Ray seems less interested in reforming The Kinks. They have been working together on a biopic film project, however.
