The Lumineers have announced new tour dates that will serve as an encore to their world tour in support of 2022’s Brightside.
The newly announced run of shows will kick off on August 16th at Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, ME. The band will play at scenic outdoor amphitheaters around the Northeast, Midwest, Northwest, and West Coast in August and September before concluding the tour at the historic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA on September 15th. James Bay will provide support for the tour. The Lumineers are also scheduled to headline New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Boston Calling this spring, Catbird Festival in August, and Jazz Aspen Snowmass in September.
The Lumineers will once again partner with environmental nonprofit Reverb.org to reduce the environmental footprint of the tour, empower fan action, and support local and national nonprofits. With the help of Reverb, the band will help fund a climate project portfolio to measurably reduce greenhouse gas pollution and create additional environmental benefits. Fans can join the band’s efforts in the main concourse at every show in the Reverb Action Village.
Brightside, The Lumineers’ fourth album, debuted in the top ten in both the U.S. and Canada, with the title track reaching number one on Billboard’s Alternative National Airplay and Adult Alternative Airplay charts. The ensuing world tour included sold-out stadium shows at Coors Field in Denver and Wrigley Field in Chicago, with more than 750,000 total tickets sold.
The album was produced by longtime collaborator Simone Felice and produced, mixed, and engineered by David Baron at his Sun Mountain Studios. The Lumineers co-founders Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites play virtually all of the instruments on the record.
