As promised, The Who have announced an extensive schedule for their “The Who Hits 50!” tour. The band will run through dates in the US on two separate legs, one from April 15-May 30 and the other from September 14-November 4. Speaking about the tour, guitarist Pete Townshend has said that this will be the last.

While that isn’t the first time The Who have said farewell, the band members are getting older, and with Townshend’s poor hearing, this may actually be the last tour. The band is also considering the release of an album, having recently released the track “Be Lucky.”

You can listen to “Be Lucky” here.

As far as the content at each show, Townshend said that the “setlists on these shows will take their audience on an Amazing Journey through The Who’s entire career, from the band’s early days to classic albums through the present day.” Tickets go on sale next Friday, October 17th, at 10 AM local time, via thewho.net.
