Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke announced two new shows for the US-leg of his 2020 Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour. Additionally, he shared his plans to release several rare songs on digital streaming sites at midnight on January 14th.
The new dates are April 13th at Arizona Federal Theatre in Pheonix, AZ and April 16th at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento, CA. These two dates will come in-between his two previously-scheduled performances at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
These shows mark the final additions to his Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes Tour. Throughout the tour, he has performed his solo material as well as songs from Atoms for Peace, the supergroup consisting of Yorke, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, and Beck drummer Joey Waronker. Godrich has been on the tour with Yorke along with Tarik Barri, a Netherlands-based audiovisual artist.
At midnight, Yorke will release “Hearing Damage”, from the 2009 The Twilight Saga: New Moon soundtrack, on digital streaming platforms. Atoms for Peace B-sides “What the Eyeballs Did”, “S.A.D.”, and “Magic Beanz” will be released as well.
An updated list of tour dates is available below. Tickets for the two additional shows go on sale on January 17th. For more information, click here.
