Tool has been working on new music for the better part of a year (if not longer), and fans are certainly anxious to hear the band’s first new offering since 2006. That’s why, when the band posted a three-word enticing news update, fans hoped that news about the album was imminent.
And now, some 26 hours after the initial post, not to mention nine years after 10,000 Years (2006) was released, we’re still waiting for it. The band revealed that a lawsuit was preventing them from making music, but frontman Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Adam Jones have both made it clear that the band is now actively working on a new project.
