Following Thursday night’s St. Patrick’s Day/birthday celebration, Twiddle returned to Brooklyn Bowl on Friday to deliver its second of two concerts. The show at Peter Shapiro‘s flagship New York venue saw a guest appearance from Scott Hannay (Mister F) on keyboards and Adrian Taramonto (Kung Fu) fill in on drums for Brook Jordan.

The concert kicked off with a fitting “Be There”, ahead of the “Mamunes the Faun” that welcomed Hannay. The former Wild Adriatic keyboardist joined Ryan Dempsey, who celebrated his birthday on Thursday, for a duel keyboard assault before leaving the band to “Carter Candlestick”. Twiddle then served up a piled-high sandwich of “Gatsby the Great” into “Zazu’s Flight” back into “Gatsby” prior to “Moments” and finally a set-closing “Collective Pulse”.

Twiddle returned for another frame at Brooklyn Bowl, rolling one right down the center of the lane with “Blunderbuss”. The following “Polluted Beauty” would find its way into “Box” before a cover of Nirvana‘s “In Bloom”. The second set then came to a close with “Slippin’ in the Kitchen”. The Vermont quartet returned to the Brooklyn Bowl stage one last time to deliver an emotionally loaded “Lost in the Cold” as the band bid farewell to its NYC fans.
