Twiddle has announced the digital “Roots Tour 2020” presented by Live From Out There. The tour will see Twiddle return to its roots in honor of 15 years playing together.

This announcement comes as the latest installment from 11E1even Group‘s ongoing Live From Out There venture. The series of webcasts was introduced via Nugs.tv in March as the first wave of concerts and tours were canceled.

In a press release, the band said that the virtual tour will run from July 9th—26th and will see a mix of original concerts, VIP experiences, archival footage, and unreleased shows. “Roots Tour 2020” will include nine new concerts that will be filmed at unique Vermont venues that were paramount to the band’s development, including a gig at Castleton University where Twiddle formed in 2005. Frontman Mihali Savoulidis said of the tour,

With the Summer tour canceled, we wanted to take this time to do something really special, head back to all the different venues that hold a special place in the band’s career going all the way back to Castleton College where Ryan and I first met. Along with the 9 live-streamed sets and virtual meet and greet experiences, we are digging up early never before seen footage and unreleased shows. This is going to be something really special for us and very excited to relive some of these special moments from our career.

“Roots Tour 2020” is part of Live From Out There‘s “Virtual Summer Tour Series”. The string of streams will include performances from Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Goose, Kitchen Dwellers, Aqueous, and SunSquabi. Early bird passes for Twiddle’s “Roots Tour 2020” are available now on the newly-launched Live From Out There website.

Twiddle also posted a video to Facebook announcing the tour, with a brief look back at the band’s history.
