One month from today on May 15th, Ty Segall & Freedom Band will air a Levitation Sessions webcast. Ahead of the session’s premiere next month, the ensemble has shared a snippet of “Manipulator” as a preview of the webcast.

Filmed in the round at Occidental College’s Remsen Bird Hillside Theater in Los Angeles, the session will see Segall joined by keyboardist Ben Boye (Bonnie “Prince” Billy), drummer Charles Moothart (Fuzz), guitarist Emmett Kelly (The Cairo Gang), and bassist Michael Cronin. The stream was recorded by the band’s “sixth member, live sound engineer and sonic guru” Matthew Littlejohn and “fellow head” Mike Kriebel.

Full-show audio will also be released across digital retailers on May 28th via The Reverberation Appreciation Society. This latest announcement comes ahead of Segall’s stoner metal trio Fuzz’s upcoming Levitation Sessions webcast, set to air on April 24th. That performance will mark Fuzz’s first live appearance together in five years.
