Ultra Music Festival will return to Miami’s Bayfront Park next spring when the 2020 event takes place on March 20th-22nd as one of the first major North American festivals of the year. On Thursday, event organizers shared “Phase 1” of their 2020 lineup, which includes Flume, Gesaffelstein, and Major Lazer.

Thursday’s initial lineup announcement also featured Armin Van Buren, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Above & Beyond, DJ Snake, Afrojack, Tale of Us, and Eric Prydz as DJ performers for the 2020 event, with more to be named in the coming months leading up to the March festival. The artwork shared with the announcement also revealed the 2020 festival will offer seven total stages of music for fans throughout the busy EDM-focused weekend.

The enormously popular electronic music event caught a huge break earlier this year when Ultra Enterprises was offered a license to return the festival to its former location of Bayfront Park by the Miami City Commission.

The 2020 lineup announcement on Thursday follows some slightly dramatic last few years which began when Ultra was forced to find a new home in Virginia Key Beach Park and Miami Marine Stadium Flex Park in 2019. The move came after the Miami City Commission unanimously voted to deny Ultra’s application for a new contract to continue staging their lavish annual event at Bayfront Park. Event organizers had more headaches to deal with after local scientists and university professors claimed the onslaught of powerful sound waves coming from the event was affecting the well-being of local fisheries and wildlife.

With all the drama now just a talking point of the past, tickets for the 2020 event are now available for purchase. Head to the official Ultra Music Festival website for more info.
