Voodoo Dead has announced two Colorado shows this fall, which will take place at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado, on November 9th and 10th. The lineup, consisting of Steve Kimock, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, Jackie Greene, and John Kimock, honors the music of both New Orleans and the Grateful Dead.

Regularly performing over Jazz Fest’s two illustrious weekends, Voodoo Dead has rarely found itself outside of the Big Easy. After standout shows in Washington D.C., New York City, and Ardmore, Pennsylvania, last winter, the band found themselves wowing fans on Jam Cruise 16, with two guest-heavy performances featuring collaborations with Roosevelt Collier, Jen Hartswick, Tom Hamilton, Kat Wright, and others. With an eager fan base across the country, the sought-after supergroup has decided to take their talents out to the Rocky Mountains.

With the recent announcement that Dead & Company’s last performance in 2018 will be at LOCKN’ in August, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti find themselves with more time on their hands. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of  Voodoo Dead’s touring plans for 2018.

Tickets for the Gothic Theater shows go on sale this Friday, July 13th, at 10 a.m. (MT) via AXS ticketing.
