Widespread Panic kicked off their four-night musical getaway at Panic En La Playa in beautiful Riviera Maya, Mexico last night, welcoming back original drummer Todd Nance for his first show since late 2014.
Beginning with a smoking hot trio of “Climb To Safety” > “Ride Me High” > “Shut Up And Drive,” the opening night of Panic En La Playa did not disappoint, featuring several bust-outs along the way, including versions of “You Should Be Glad” (LTP 9/4/14) and “Solid Rock” (LTP 7/6/14), both coming in the first set, as well as “From The Cradle” (LTP 7/2/14) and “Pappa Johnny Road” (LTP 6/27/14) in the second stanza.
