Wilco has announced the return of the band’s Blue Sky Riviera Maya, Mexico destination event, set for January 17th–21st, 2022. In addition to three shows from headliners Wilco, Blue Sky 2022 will feature performances from Spoon, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Thundercat, and more.

Also on tap for the second-annual Blue Sky are Waxahatchee, Stephen Malkmus, a solo set from Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy, Tank and the Bangas, Mountain Man, Nubya Garcia, The Autumn Defense, Nels Cline & Julian Lage, Neal Francis, and Britt Daniel (DJ Set). Tickets for the all-inclusive event at the Hard Rock Hotel will be capped at 2,500 and go on sale to the general public on May 27th at 1 p.m. ET. This comes as the latest destination event announcement, following previous revelations of vacation festivals from Dead & Company, Dark Star Orchestra, Gov’t Mule, and more. Wilco also recently re-confirmed August dates for the band’s joint tour with Sleater-Kinney, originally postponed from 2020.
