In anticipation of its June 26th release, Netflix has shared a music video teaser for its forthcoming comedy film, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, starring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams.

The song? “Volcano Man”. The video? Absolutely ludicrous, just as you’d expect from any Will Ferrell music video (E.g. “Boats and Hoes”). “Volcano Man” starts with Sigrit Ericksdottir (McAdams) singing over a Lars Erickssong (Farrell) bassline. As the shot cuts to a drone camera, the two stars stand atop a cliff, several feet apart, each with a keyboard. Like any good dance tune, the song builds to a peak before dropping into a four-on-the-floor house music track.
“Volcano Man,” Ferrell belts out, presumably singing of himself, before McAdams adds, “He’s got my melting heart.” “Volcano Protector Man,” he continues, in the most over-the-top, self-aggrandizing way. Throughout the video, Ferrell and McAdams are seen traversing a volcano, singing from ice caps, and even making snow angels on a mountain. Clocking in at 1:33, the short video offers viewers a little taste of the comedy expected in the film.
