Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff have announced plans to return to the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air glory days with a joint tour in 2016. Smith confirmed the news on a segment with Ellen Degeneres yesterday.
When asked about the possibility of touring with his former Fresh Prince co-star Smith didn’t hesitate to say that it’s happening, explaining that the pair never got around to hitting the road together back in their heyday in the 90s.
“So, we released our first record in 1986,” Smith said. “Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble was our first record, but by 1990 I was already on The Fresh Prince. So, in that time, we just we were getting started and I never actually had a chance to go on tour, so I really want to get out there and do it for real.”
