Psychedelic rock outfit Zero has announced a three-night fall run of shows in celebration of the band’s 35th anniversary.
The quartet—comprised of founding members Steve Kimock (guitar) and Greg Anton (drums), along with special guests Melvin Seals (keyboards/organ) and Pete Sears (bass)—will offer up a two-night run at San Francisco, CA’s Great American Music Hall on November 21st and 22nd, followed by a performance at Crystal Bay, NV’s Crystal Bay Casino Lake Tahoe on November 23rd.
In 1984, Kimock and Anton founded Zero alongside guitarist John Cipollina, formerly of Quicksilver Messenger Service. Following the addition of vocalist Judge Murphy, the quartet went on to release Chance In A Million in 1994, which included songs written by longtime Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter.
Tickets for the San Francisco shows on November 21st and 22nd are now on sale. A fan pre-sale for the Tahoe show is currently underway here. Tickets for the Tahoe show go on sale to the general public beginning this Friday, August 30th at 10 a.m. (PST) here.
