The Avett Brothers and their fans were at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana over the weekend where the folk-rock band hosted the 2020 installment of their annual The Avett Brothers At The Beach destination event, produced alongside Cloud 9 Adventures.
For this year’s winter weekend getaway in the Dominican Republic, The Avett Brothers were joined in support with performances throughout the weekend from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Emmylou Harris, Shakey Graves, Dawes, Trampled By Turtles, The Wood Brothers, Mandolin Orange, Langhorn Slim and the Lost At Last Band, Valerie June, Sierra Ferrell, Jim Avett, and Jessica Lea Mayfield.

With the 2020 event now in the past, The Avett Brothers look ahead to their upcoming tour dates scheduled for April and into the summer months. The band continues to tour behind their latest studio effort, 2019’s Closer Than Together. The 13-track studio album is the band’s first since 2016’s True Sadness, and features singles “High Steppin’” and “Bang Bang“.
