Australian power psych-rockers King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have released their new live album, Chunky Shrapnel, which arrived on Friday via Flightless Records/ATO Records (North America). The live album was preceded by its affiliated concert film of the same name, which debuted last week on April 18th for a 24-hour viewing period on Vimeo.

Initially announced earlier this month, the 16-track live album highlights a mix of the band’s performances from their throughout their 2019 European tour, including “The River” (from Luxembourg), “Road Train” (from Manchester), “Planet B” (from London), “Let Me Mend The Past” (from Madrid), and “Inner Cell” (from Utrecht) to name a few. The album’s digital arrival to streaming platforms on Friday will be followed by a physical double LP release next month on May 29th.

Additionally, King Gizzard has also since shared info on their rescheduled concert dates for the previously-announced 2020 North American spring tour, and the trio of “Marathon Shows” At Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre (sold-out) and California’s Greek Theatre, which will now take place in the fall (maybe).
