The Disco Biscuits have announced a very special run of shows in Reykjavik, Iceland on May 20th–22nd, 2023. Dubbed Tranceatlantic, the three-day event will take place at Eldborg Hall, within Reykjavik’s iconic Harpa Concert Hall, with support from Cloudchord, Karina Rykman, and Dogs in a Pile.

In an announcement posted on social media, the band addressed their fans and acknowledged the experiences they have shared before introducing their new destination event. “Over the years, the community around The Disco Biscuits has grown ever larger,” the band wrote. “However, through our shared travels and magical experiences, we’ve also somehow grown closer. We’ve gone on a lot of adventures together around the country and all over the world. And the next one is sure to make us memories that we’ll share forever.”

Joining The Disco Biscuits on their Tranceatlantic adventure are Cloudchord, Karina Rykman, and Dogs in a Pile, each of whom will play a (separately ticketed) late-night show in addition to a direct support set at Harpa. Cloudchord will kick off the festivities with a pre-party on Friday, May 19th; Dogs in a Pile will keep the party going Saturday the 20th; and Karina Rykman will usher the fun into its final day with a late-night set on Sunday the 21st.
