Adjacent Music Festival will make its debut on the beach adjacent to the Atlantic City boardwalk over Memorial Day weekend 2023. The first-year fest presented by Live Nation will bring recently reunited pop-punk trio Blink-182 and Paramore to the A.C. beach as headliners on May 27th and 28th.

While the festival does lean on some of the early 2000s nostalgia that carried When We Were Young Festival to three sold-out days of music (though one was canceled) with another on the way next year, Adjacent Music Festival promises more diversity. Other top acts include Bleachers, hardcore punkers Turnstile, indie darling Japanese Breakfast, progressive unit Coheed and Cambria, British rockers IDLES, and many more.

Adjacent Festival also sticks close to home by drawing talent from the region. The Northeast is well represented with Japanese Breakfast, The Starting Line, and Mannequin Pussy all hailing from Philadelphia; Bleachers, Thursday, Folly, The Front Bottoms, L.S. Dunes, and The Happy Fits by way of New Jersey; and many more local acts.

The inaugural lineup is rounded out by Jimmy Eat World, PUP, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Beach Bunny, Motion City Soundtrack, The Linda Lindas, Drug Church, Electric Callboy, Hot Milk, I Am The Avalanche, Knocked Loose, Loveless, Meet Me @ The Altar, Neil Rubenstein, Oxymorrons, Pinkshift, Phantom Planet, Royal & The Serpent, Scowl, Siiickbrain, Waterparks, and Zulu.

These 40-plus bands will perform on three stages over the two-day festival, with artists and fans flanked on either side by the world-famous Atlantic City boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. Two-day general admission and VIP passes to the inaugural Adjacent Music Festival go on sale on Friday, October 28th at 10 a.m. ET. Travel packages will also be available.
