The Allman Betts Band has announced the all-star lineup of performers who will join in on the fun at the band’s upcoming Allman Family Revival shows in San Francisco, Denver, and New York City this December.
The third annual Allman Family Revival has expanded to three cities this year in honor of the late Gregg Allman‘s birthday and legacy. All three performances will feature an opening set from the Allman Betts Band, which will be followed by an Allman Brothers Band and Gregg Allman tribute set featuring Robin Zander (Cheap Trick), Eric Krasno, Lily Hiatt, Charlie Starr, JD Simo, Alex Orbison, Ally Venable, Eric McFadden, Brandon “TAZ” Niederauer, Charlie Starr, Luther and Cody Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), G Love, Robert Randolph, Jimmy Hall, Lamar Williams Jr., Lily Hiatt, and Jimmy Vivino.

The first event will take place at The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA on December 7th, followed by The Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO on December 8th, and finally The Beacon Theatre in New York, NY on December 28th. Fans should note that some artists will not appear at all three Allman Family Revival performances. Check with the individual venues for local billing.
As previously stated by the band, a portion of the proceeds will go to School of Rock to help fund after school music programs that are picking up the slack for the alarming lack of in-school music programs declining nationwide.
Earlier this year, the band had announced the cancelation of a run of European and North American tour dates throughout August and into September after Devon Allman was forced to undergo an emergency appendectomy. The tour resumed on October 18th and is scheduled to continue until November 16th following a final performance at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, NY supporting the Charlie Daniels Band.
Tickets for all three Allman Family Revival shows are now on sale for San Francisco, Denver, and New York City.
