Beck Hansen, better known by his stage name, Beck, turns 50 years young today, July 8th, 2020. In celebration of his half-century on earth, the alt-rocker has shared Khruangbin‘s stripped-down remix of “No Distraction”, a track which originally appeared on Beck’s 2017 Colors album.

The new take on Beck’s lively original hears the Khruangbin gang do what they do best in stripping away any excess production to explore the core of the song at its most raw. While the 2017 version of “No Distraction” sounded very Beck-like, the new remix sounds more like a Khruangbin original composition thanks to its dreamy, lo-fi production.
