Organizers for Bonnaroo Music Festival have announced they will offer ticket holders the opportunity to request a full refund for the 2020 event, which was originally scheduled to take place the weekend of June 11th-14th at Great Stage Park in Manchester, TN. Last month, organizers confirmed the postponement of the 2020 festival, which will now (hopefully) take place in the fall during the weekend of September 24th–27th, where all original tickets will be honored.
According to an update to the festival’s website shared on Tuesday (April 28th), fans who purchased tickets for the 2020 event will have a one month window beginning May 1st to request a full refund, which also includes all hotel/airport shuttle packages, Nashville shuttle packages, and more ticket options unique to the annual summer event.
“Thank you Bonnaroovians for your patience as we continue to navigate through these unprecedented times together,” organizers mentioned in a statement. “If you are unable to attend the rescheduled dates, we are now offering the opportunity to request a full refund. Refunds may be requested beginning May 1, 2020 starting at 9 am ET … Requests must be received by May 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm ET.”
This year’s festival was set to feature performances from TOOL, Lizzo, Oysterhead, Tenacious D, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Run The Jewels, Tame Impala, Vampire Weekend, and many more
Bonnaroo’s new ticket initiative falls in line with the updated policy set forth by its parent company, Live Nation, which announced earlier this month that fans will have a month-long window to request a full monetary refund within 30 days of a new date announcement. If 60 days have passed since the announcement of an event postponement and no rescheduled dates have been confirmed, the 30-day refund window will open.
