Brittany Howard has announced the mix of artists who will join her in support when the Alabama Shakes singer/guitarist heads out on tour in support of her forthcoming solo debut.

Howard, who will start her solo fall run with a show at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club on August 23rd, will now be joined in support by Ghost-Note bassist MonoNeon for her performances at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, WI (9/18); the Palace Theatre in St. Paul, MN (9/19); the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, IL (9/20); and REBEL in Toronto, ON (9/22). Additionally, Howard will also be joined by drummer Nate Smith + KINFOLK at the Beacon Theatre in New York, NY (9/24); Charlie Bereal for shows at House of Blues in Boston, MA (9/25); and The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA (9/27); and Bardo for two shows at at The Theater at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA (10/8-9).

Howard had previously announced she’ll be joined by Thelma and the Sleaze for the first two dates of the tour.

Nate Smith also plays on Howard’s forthcoming solo album, Jaime, which is due out on September 20th via ATO Records, so fans should expect to see the drummer potentially pulling double duty in playing both his own opening set and with Howard during her headlining performance on the select dates.

Howard has already shared a few select tracks from Jaime, including “Stay High” and “He Loves Me“. On Wednesday, it was also announced that Howard would be added to the Sunday lineup for Afropunk Brooklyn Festival in Brooklyn, NY this weekend.
