Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band returned to Saturday Night Live last night for their first performance on the long-running comedy show since 2015.
For their return, “The Boss” and his go-to backing band delivered the live debuts of “Ghosts” and “I’ll See You in My Dreams”, two new originals which appeared on Springsteen’s latest studio album, Letter To You, which arrived on Columbia Records back on October 23rd. Springsteen die-hards will note that bassist Garry Tallent and violinist Soozie Tyrell were both absent from Saturday’s taping due to COVID-19 restrictions.
