Professional M.L.B. franchise the Chicago White Sox recently announced their Grateful Dead night, scheduled to take place at the team’s game against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, July 2nd at Chicago’s Guarenteed Rate Field.
In addition to a ticket to the game and music, fans who purchase the White Sox’s special ticket offer will receive a voucher for a Grateful Dead White Sox hat, limited to the first 1,500 tickets purchased.
In a special note on the event page, the White Sox note,
When you purchase your Grateful Dead Ticket package, you will automatically receive a Hat voucher for each ticket purchased. Your game tickets, and hat vouchers will be added to your White Sox account a week prior to the game on June 25. You will access your hat voucher and game tickets on your mobile phone by logging into your White Sox account on your phone after June 2. You must present your hat voucher on your phone in order to receive your hat. You can redeem the hat voucher at the Group Sales Redemption area at Gate 7, which is located on the left field concourse behind Sections 160/161 between 5:40 – 8:00 p.m. You must have your hat voucher in order to receive your hat.
The White Sox join fellow baseball teams the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Cyclones, as well as the Detroit Red Wings and Florida Panthers, in celebrating the Grateful Dead and their music this year at sporting events.
