Dave Matthews Band announced on Monday that their summer tour is rescheduled to 2021. In a post to the band’s website, DMB announced that all the same stops, and more, will be made up next year. The massive summer tour was set to run from June to September at arenas and amphitheaters across the country, including the band’s annual three-night run at The Gorge.
This announcement comes as high-profile summer tours from Journey and Dead & Company have also been canceled and others, like Phish and Rage Against The Machine, have rescheduled to 2021.
In the announcement on the band’s website, Dave Matthews Band regrettably stated the bad news, but offered a silver lining. While all of the 2020 summer tour dates will be moved to next year, there will also be some additional stops made on the tour. In addition to the previously-announced shows, DMB will also makes stops in Toronto, ON (6/23); Camden, NJ (6/25-6); Tampa, FL (7/28); The Woodlands and Dallas, TX (9/17-8); Maryland Heights, MO (9/28); Bonner Springs, KS (9/29); and Denver, CO (10/1-2).
All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new dates, and fans will have the option to seek refunds through the original point of purchase.
