Daze Between New Orleans has announced its 2025 late-night shows including a longtime staple of the New Orleans Jazz Fest season, the Daze Between Band, set to bring together members of The Meters, Dumpstaphunk, Soulive, Trey Anastasio Band, and more at famed Uptown club Tipitina’s on Wednesday, April 30th [ticketing details].

The Daze Between Band has been the crown jewel of Live For Live Music’s Fest by Nite lineup for years. This year’s edition of the rotating, all-star group will be led once again by Fest by Nite all-star Eric Krasno (guitar; Soulive). He’ll be joined by Daze Between Band veterans George Porter Jr. (bass; The Meters), Ivan Neville (keys, vocals; Dumpstaphunk), Tony Hall (bass, vocals; Dumpstaphunk), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals; Trey Anastasio Band), Skerik (saxophone; Les Claypool), Nicki Bluhm (vocals), Alex Wasily (trombone; Dumpstaphunk); Raymond Weber (drums; formerly Dumpstaphunk), and additional surprise guests. As always, Daze Between Band attendees would be wise to expect the unexpected.

The Daze Between Band will hit the Tipitina’s stage following the final notes of Daze Between New Orleans at the Mahalia Jackson Theater. The two-day event will begin on Tuesday, April 29th with performances by Umphrey’s McGee with Jason Bonham (playing a Led Zeppelin set) and Jeff Coffin/Jennifer Hartswick (playing an original set), moe. with the Dumpstaphunk Horns, and lespecial with Skerik. The midweek party will come to a close on Wednesday, April 30th with The Allman Betts Band New Orleans Revival featuring George Porter Jr., Ivan Neville, and more; GEOLEO (George Porter Jr. and Leo Nocentelli of The Meters with Ivan Neville and Stanton Moore), and The Headhunters with Eric Krasno and Weedie Braimah.
