The Disco Biscuits were back at Higher Ground on Thursday where the rock band closed their two-night run at the South Burlington, VT venue with a thrilling two-set performance.

Just as the band has done so far on their 2019-2020 winter tour, The Disco Biscuits treated their Burlington fans with the live debut of another new original during the opening set.

Thursday’s show started out with “Save The Robots” before charging forward with “Aceetobee”. The music continued right into “Tempest” before returning to “Aceetobee” to close the two-song, three-part combination. Next up was a brand new, never-before-played Disco Biscuits original, “4th of July”, which stood on its own as the latest addition to the Biscuits’ live arsenal. The set continued with “Mr. Don” which moved into “Hero” before returning to the former to send fans into set break.

The band returned to open the second half of Thursday’s show with the first part of “And The Ladies Were The Rest Of The Night” before transitioning into “Cyclone” and back to “Ladies” to close the segue. “Station” came next, followed by “Reactor” into “Lunar Pursuit”. The music returned to “Reactor” to close the set, only to see the band return for a one-song encore of “Spy”.
