Earlier this year, The Disco Biscuits returned to the Denver area for the 2019 edition of their three-night “Bisco Inferno” run at The Ogden Theatre and the nearby Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The final night of the spring weekend run took place at Red Rocks, where the Biscuits offered up their live debut cover of Blondie‘s “Rapture” during the second set.

On Friday, the band released a remix of the live recording courtesy of Party Pupils to help their fans prepare for the Biscuits’ upcoming New Year’s run of shows at The Playstation Theatre in New York City.

“It’s always tough when two releases happen on the same day but we are so proud to have worked on this remix for [The Disco Biscuits] which also dropped today,” Party Pupils mentioned via Twitter to go with the song’s release on Friday. “Never remixed audio from a live concert before, so this one is very cool and special.”

The Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein also added, “It’s amazing how PartyPupils was able to take multi-track audio from a live concert and turn it into a dance floor club banger. This opens the possibility to ANY great biscuits jam getting remixed into a club track.”
