Dopapod Shares 4K Pro-Shot Video Of “French Bowling” From ‘Live At The Capitol Theatre’ [Watch]

Dopapod has released more pro-shot footage from their comeback performance at Port Chester, NY’s The Capitol Theatre this past April.

The latest 4K live video from Dopapod’s spring comeback at “The Cap” showcases the band’s nearly 13-minute performance of “French Bowling” from their 2012 Drawn Onward studio album. The video’s arrival on Tuesday follows the previous releases of 4K videos of “Freight Train“, “FABA“, “Trapper Keeper“, “Mucho“, and “Onionhead” from the April performance.

The lengthy rendition of the Dopapod original started with the audience loudly approving of Rob Compa‘s introductory notes before the rest of the band joined in. Following some interplay between Compa, keyboardist Eli Winderman, and bassist Chuck Jones to start the tune, drummer Neal “Fro” Evans eventually checked in to get the instrumental jam up and running at full speed. Compa and Winderman continued to playfully trade lead lines as the music charged forward to its eventual climax, but it’s worth noting that the experience overall was heightened greatly thanks to the very impressive lighting work by Luke Stratton.
