Goose has detailed its forthcoming film, Shenanigans Nite Club: The Movie, with a new trailer posted to the band’s YouTube page. Shenanigans Nite Club: The Movie will be available to stream via Flymachine on December 23rd–26th.

Directed by Will Thresher, the new film will feature all five members of Goose, Rick Mitarotonda (Mick Small), Jeff Arevalo (Joe Small), Trevor Weekz (Strange Man #1), Peter Anspach (Strange Man #2), and Ben Atkind (Glen), as well as members of the band’s team and musical collaborators, such as Jon “Coach” Lombardi (Lu Peters), Greg Knight (Big Bob), and Bruce Robinson (Clyde).

Shenanigans Nite Club, the album, pays homage to an iconic Connecticut music venue that existed in the group’s hometown several decades ago. The film acts as another tribute to the location, with the set and wardrobe designed to mimic the aura of Shenanigans and the diverse group of characters who danced the nights away at the spot. Set in the ’80s, the trailer sees Mick Small receive news that he will assume ownership of Shenanigans, where he finds a time machine that transports him back to the heyday of the club and encounters some strange (and violent) characters.

“I was hassling Will [Thresher] to make a movie with us around the album for a while – after meeting and listening to the album, Will began crafting ideas,” says Mitarotonda in a press release. “Making a movie is a much greater undertaking than we expected going into it – we learned a lot from it, though. Although the story is our own, I think the project in its entirety will give our fans a greater appreciation for just how special this location truly was.”
