Long-running tropical destination event Holidaze will return in 2021 after two years away with a December 4th–8th getaway in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

The 2021 edition of Holidaze, presented by Cloud 9 Adventures, will mark the first installment of the event in three years. The annual event, which has run since 2007, took an elective “siesta” in 2019 before the pandemic derailed plans for a return in 2020.

As per tradition, the festivities will be headlined by The Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGee. Each of the host bands will perform three times during the event.

Other touring acts set to perform include moe. (x2), Chromeo (DJ Set), The New Deal, Andy Frasco & The U.N.Chali 2na & Cut ChemistDoom Flamingo, and Little Stranger.

The lineup also features performances by a slew of rarely-seen side projects and combo groups including Brain Damaged Eggmen, the Umphrey’s/Biscuits crossover tribute to Pink Floyd and The Beatles, and Omega Moos, the ’80s rock tribute featuring UM’s Brendan Bayliss, The New Deal’s Jamie Shields, and more.

The hub of the Holidaze action will be the newly renovated Now Sapphire, with stages, restaurants, waterslides, rooms with swim-out pools, and scenic coastline views. Dreams Resort & Spa, just a short walk down the beach from the main stage, will also host Holidaze guests and offer the same access to amenities.

Returning guest pre-sale for Holidaze 2021 will begin on May 24th. Public on-sale will take place the following day, Tuesday, May 25th. For information on packages, hotel options, and more, head to the Holidaze website.
