Jacob Collier has announced his biggest North American headlining tour to date, set to take the decorated English composer, arranger, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and bandleader to beloved venues in major markets throughout the spring of 2024. Emily King and Kimbra will serve as the tour’s supporting acts on select dates.
Produced by Live Nation, the 31-date 2024 Jacob Collier North American tour will begin at Toronto, ON’s Coca-Cola Coliseum on April 22nd and continue through the middle of June, with the 29-year-old and his band making notable stops at New York, NY’s Radio City Music Hall (4/26), Philadelphia, PA’s The Met (4/29), New Orleans, LA’s The Fillmore (5/9), Austin, TX’s Moody Amphitheater (5/12), Los Angeles, CA’s Greek Theatre (5/20), Nashville, TN’s Grand Ole Opry (6/2), Chicago, IL’s Aragon Ballroom (6/9), and Cleveland, OH’s Jacobs Pavilion (6/12).
The tour will celebrate the February 29th, 2024 release of Collier’s Djesse Vol. 4, the fourth and final set in a series of Djesse albums stretching back to 2018. The last installment, 2020’s Djesse Vol. 3, was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
From sweeping orchestral arrangements to intimate folk songwriting and fusions of R&B, rap, and pop, the Djesse Vol. 4 tapestry is woven around an ecstatic and global celebration of the human voice. In the midst of working on Djesse, Collier started turning each of his concert audiences into sprawling, improvised choirs. While conducting the crowd at venues ranging from rock clubs to Lincoln Center to festivals like Bonnaroo and Glastonbury, droves of fans have all been united in rousing harmony, furthering his guiding belief that everyone in this world is a musician. Having recorded each of his 80+ audience choirs, Jacob Collier brings roughly 150,000 different voices into the story on Djesse Vol. 4. Listen to Djesse Vol. 4‘s lead single, the Brandi Carlile-assisted “Little Blue”, here.
