Lake Street Dive has added a string of new summer and fall tour dates to an ever-growing concert schedule. The new shows will see the Boston-bred outfit continue to explore its latest album, Obviously.

The newly announced dates include stops at Ravinia in Highland Park, IL with Allison Russell (8/26); Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA with Valerie June (9/9); Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX with Russell (10/7); and McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton, NJ (10/24) with support to be announced.

These latest additions bolster a tour schedule that already features sold-out shows at SummerStage in New York’s Central Park (8/24) and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO with The Wood Brothers (9/26). The band will mount headlining performances at such storied venues as The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA (10/2) and the Civic Theatre in New Orleans, LA (10/12); as well as hit the festival circuit with appearances at Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island (7/28); Moon River Festival in Chatanooga, TN (9/11); and Treefort Music Festival in Boise, ID (9/22).

This tour will mark the band’s first extended run of shows without founding member Mike “McDuck” Olson. The multi-instrumentalist announced his departure back in May from Lake Street Dive after 16 years of faithful service. He performed his final concert with the then-quintet, now-quartet at Westville Music Bowl on June 11th.
