Little Feat has signed on as headliners for Summer Camp Music Festival over Memorial Day weekend 2022. The veteran rock band will perform its seminal 1978 live album, Waiting For Columbus, in its entirety at the festival May 27th–29th, 2022 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL.
This will mark Little Feat’s Summer Camp debut, where they will join fellow headliners The Smashing Pumpkins alongside host bands moe. and Umphrey’s McGee. The Summer Camp spot comes as part of a larger 2022 tour for Little Feat, which will see the band celebrate the 45th anniversary of Waiting For Columbus with full-album performances on an expansive United States tour.
The Summer Camp lineup is just one of nearly two-dozen Waiting For Columbus tour dates added to Little Feat’s calendar. The band—which consists of longtime members keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and guitarist Fred Tackett alongside newly-added drummer Tony Leone and guitarist Scott Sharrard—also added stops throughout the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast from April through August.
