Building off the company’s popular Concert Week promotion, Live Nation has announced the launch of Festival Weekend, a new deal offering $99 all-in single-day tickets to over a dozen music festivals across the United States.
Set to run from Friday, May 19th at 10 a.m. ET to Monday, May 22nd at 11:59 p.m. local time while supplies last, Festival Weekend presents discounts on a wide range of festivals throughout the country and lavender wild in Toronto, ON. Pop-punk throwbacks top the lineup of the inaugural Adjacent Festival in Atlantic City, NJ next weekend while Afro Nation celebrates the Afrobeat culture in Miami, also over Memorial Day weekend. Other long-running institutions are also putting up discounted tickets including Governors Ball in New York and Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, along with newcomers like Catbird in Bethel, NY and One Fine Day in Philadelphia. See below for a full list of participating festivals.
The Live Nation Festival Weekend $99 all-in promotion goes live here on Friday. Select days of each festival will be offered, with dates varying by event and specified on the Live Nation website.
While Live Nation is offering all-in ticket pricing for one weekend only, lawmakers are mulling legislation that would make upfront ticket pricing the law of the land. Proposed last month, the Transparency in Charges for Key Events Ticketing Act would legally require ticket sellers to disclose any and all additional fees upfront, rather than surprising customers with new charges at checkout. Live Nation has come out in public support of the bipartisan legislation.
