Mike Gordon‘s 2020 winter tour grooved its way north to Toronto, ON on Saturday night, where the Phish bassist and his solo project treated his Canadian fans to a fun mix of covers and originals at the Danforth Music Hall.

The two-set performance opened with some Gordo originals in “Let’s Go” and “Whirlwind” before the band moved into their first cover of the night with a take on Fiona Apple‘s “Sleep to Dream”. The cover moved right into “Peel” followed by the live debut of a song titled, “Midigoni”. The set closed following performances of more Gordon originals in “Back in the Bubble” and “Go Away”.

Gordon and company then delivered another cover with their take on Coldplay‘s “All I Can Think About Is You”, followed by a performance of Phish’s “Spock’s Brain”. “Tiny Little World” was next, followed by a set-closing cover of Rancid‘s “Ruby Soho”. The show’s one-song encore was that of another Phish tune in “Sugar Shack” to send fans home happy.
