Stalwart jam-rock outfit moe. on Monday canceled its next two tour stops at Chillicothe, IL’s Solshine Reverie (5/24–5/26) and Swanzey, NH’s Northlands Music & Arts Festival (6/14–6/15), respectively.
Per a message posted to the band’s social media, “Due to extenuating family circumstances, we will be unable to join the festivities at Solshine Reverie and Northlands Music & Arts Festival. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and ongoing support at this time.”
moe.’s absence from Solshine Reverie, formerly known as Summer Camp Music Festival, will be of particular note. The group served as Summer Camp’s perennial host act from the festival’s inception in 2001 through 2023. Though the festival underwent a renaming/rebranding process for 2024, moe. was still set to perform three nights of music at Solshine Reverie including a collaborative set with longtime Summer Camp co-host band Umphrey’s McGee.
“We are saddened to hear and share the news that moe. will not be joining us this weekend at Solshine Reverie,” event organizers wrote on social media. “Our hearts go out to all the members of the band and crew who have been a part of this special weekend we have collectively created over two decades. We will make sure that there is an overwhelming amount of support coming from the grounds at Three Sisters Park this weekend as we gather together.” The post added, “We will have answers for you on schedule updates as soon as we can.” For more information on Solshine Reverie, head here.
Nothlands Music & Arts Festival has yet to address how it will fill moe.’s vacated slot on its two-day lineup. For more information on Northlands 2024, head here.
With Solshine Reverie and Northlands now cleared from the upcoming moe. tour itinerary, the band will now remain off the road until the start of its Best Summer Ever tour featuring Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country in early July. For a full list of upcoming moe. tour dates, head here.
Sending love to the whole moe. family. We can’t wait to see you back out there soon!
