MonoNeon is at it again with those entertaining video remixes of his, and this time the Ghost-Note bassist has selected an inspiring message originally shared by fellow bass virtuoso Victor Wooten as his latest project.

Similar to what he did with a viral Cardi B video back in the spring, MonoNeon utilizes the magic of auto-tune, a drum machine, and his superior bass playing to add a funky melody in-sync with Wooten’s voice in a recently-shared feel-good video message. The 1:13-minute clip hears Wooten discuss how we all need to stay inside during this time of communal quarantine, while also embracing the idea of going deep inside and “Fall back in love with ourselves.”

While the video message was already inspiring, the musical additions provided by MonoNeon now provide some extra funk to Wooten’s feel-good attempt at loving ourselves. The video even comes to an end with MonoNeon’s art manifesto in the form of a listing of inspiring tips on how to be your best creative self.
