Railroad Earth is headed to the Jersey Shore to celebrate America’s independence with their fans this summer. Announced on Wednesday, the band who formed out of northern New Jersey back in the early 2000s will return home to set up shop at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ throughout Fourth of July weekend for a pair of shows on Friday, July 5th, and Saturday, July 6th.

The two additions to Railroad Earth’s 2019 summer concert schedule arrive just a few days after the band wrapped a run of spring tour dates last week. Just last month the band also released a pair of recordings featuring lyrics originally penned by late singer-songwriter John Denver. The two songs titled, “If You Will Be My Lady” and “Through The Night”, were released as a  7-inch single on Earth Day (April 22nd).

The band will head to Cumberland, MD this weekend for their scheduled appearance at this year’s DelFest. Other festival appearances featured on the band’s spring/summer tour schedule include performances at Wisconsin’s Blue Ox Music Festival, Colorado’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and Ohio’s Smoky Run Music Festival, just to name a few.

Tickets for the two Fourth of July weekend shows go on sale this Friday, May 24th, at 10 a.m. ET. Head to the band’s website for tickets and tour info.
