Country and roots sensation Sierra Ferrell made her national TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night.
After announcing her highly anticipated sophomore album, Trail of Flowers, and releasing a new single, “Dollar Bill Bar”, earlier in the day, Ferrell performed her recent boot-stomping single “Fox Hunt” dressed in a forest-themed costume, a fiddle on her shoulder, and accompanied by her band, which included banjo, drums, double fiddle, and an Irish-style octave mandolin instead of her typical instrumentation of guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and bass. The song will appear alongside “Dollar Bill Bar” on her new album, which is due out March 22nd.
The appearance marked yet another milestone for Ferrell, who sold out every one of her shows last year. She will return to the road her cross-country Shoot For The Moon Tour, which includes sold-out shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club, multiple nights at LA’s Fonda Theatre and Chicago’s Thalia Hall, and stops at NYC’s Webster Hall and dozens of other notable venues. She will then join Zach Bryan for a run of stadium shows and play newly added dates with The Avett Brothers. Click below for a full list of tour dates, and to purchase tickets, visit her website.
