Sweetwater 420 Fest is the latest musical gathering to fall victim to the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), and has decided to not move forward with the April event as planned.
The festival, originally slated for April 24th–26th at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, boasted a lineup featuring performances from Oysterhead, Trey Anastasio Band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, The Revivalists, Lake Street Dive, The Floozies, Dr. Dog, Lettuce, The Marcus King Band, Snoop Dogg, The Allman Betts Band, and many more.
In an official post to the festival’s Facebook page, the organizers were transparent in stating, “We are evaluating if a rescheduled event is possible or if we will see you next April, 2021.” The post also noted that, whether ticket holders cannot attend the rescheduled date or if the event is canceled entirely, full refunds will be issued. Stay tuned to the festival’s Facebook page for updates.
