The Disco Biscuits have blessed fans with a new live album, Live From Austin, TX, the band’s first official live release since 2017.
Recorded at Austin’s Empire Garage on September 16th, 2023, the new live album was captured during the Disco Biscuits’ recent fall tour and mixed and mastered by sound engineer Rich Steele.
“We took a listen back to some of our favorite shows from this year, and this one continued to stand out,” said keyboardist Aron Magner. “We feel like it has everything we want a 2023 Biscuits show to be: a super strong standalone opener (AC2B), a few fun bustouts (Therapy, Neck Romancer), some killer versions of newer songs (APOA, Photograph, Deal, Falling, Buy The Time), and of course plenty of deep improv (Jam → I-Man, Spacebird). We hope you enjoy listening to this live recording as much as we do!”

The Biscuits are gearing up to close out a busy year with three shows over New Year’s weekend including a late-night post-Phish show at NYC’s Palladium Times Square on December 28th and two hometown New Year’s shows at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall on the 30th and 31st. The band will return to the road in 2024 for the Why We Dance Tour and recently announced the first Tractorbeam show since 2019.
