News of the extensive tour comes as the latest announcement from The Horn Section, which officially formed shortly after Schwartz, Brouwers, Sanderson, and four other members of Turkuaz announced their departure from the band late last year. Since making its debut as an artist-at-large at the inaugural North Beach Music Festival in December, the trio has also joined the lineup for Summer Camp Music Festival. Additionally, The Horn Section will serve as a special guest for The Motet during a co-headlining show with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 27th. That Motet set will also see them perform alongside their former Turkuaz bandmates Shira Elias and Sammi Garrett, who are on board to provide vocal assistance.
